Service Description

This course will enable the completion, production and drilling engineers to understand the principles of geosciences and reservoir engineering employed in the design of various well stimulation treatments and techniques. The course will focus on the origin, causes and mechanisms of formation damage. The magnitude of formation damage will be determined through the analysis and interpretation of well testing procedures and techniques. The course will also focus on the fundamentals and design of matrix and acid fracturing treatments for increasing the original permeability near the well bore or for the removal of formation damage in the well bore region. Technical software will be provided and practiced for each topic covered in the course.
